Automatic correction of output errors due to temperature changes by temperature sensors!
Digital load cells incorporate an amplification section, A/D conversion section, and microcontroller into the load cell body, enabling direct output of digital signals. By adopting a digital method, they have evolved into high-cost performance information terminals as "mass and force sensors" with higher precision and stability. An internal temperature sensor automatically corrects output errors caused by temperature changes. Additionally, the realization of an internal resolution of 4.19 million counts (approximately four times that of conventional models) has improved measurement accuracy. Analog load cells, which exchanged weak voltage signals between the load cell and indicator, had a structure that was susceptible to noise. In contrast, digital load cells output digital signals directly, making them less affected by noise and capable of long-distance transmission. Since the mass value is in digital signal form, only the setting values need to be input when replacing the controller, eliminating the need for adjustments with weights as required by analog load cells.
